The flex which gives answer for the chopped trees by TRDCL
The initial post of Bibin Chandran has raised a major issue. Good one Bibin. Kerala Road Fund Board (KRBF) and Thiruvananthapuram Road Development Company Ltd.(TRDCL) has improved the standard of roads throughout the length and breadth of the city. We are now able to have a smooth drive. They have cut several trees for road development projects. But, KRBF has erected a flex opposite to Museum, which says, "Each trees chopped for road development will be replaced by planting ten trees as a part of special project". Is this an answer for raised questions? What about the shade of those areas (Edapazanji) which protected us from the scorching heat? It will take years to grow a plant to a tree. How can we get shade during the same time period? Or is it ok for better roads? Please give your valuable comments....
