Waiting shed with a difference!
Make-shift or rundown trade union waiting sheds are a common sight all over the state. Set up mostly as a resting and gathering area for the members of the unions, these sheds mostly consist of one or two benches.
But Yentha's eyes fell on a waiting shed with a difference. The CITU waiting shed at Law College junction is one that caught our attention.
While the usual occupants are presumably toiling somewhere, they have this nice cozy homely area to come back to. The normal two-bench waiting area has been developed into a full-fledged demi-hut with gardening and water proof flexi board roofs. The shed even has two hoardings--one by “Sasi pan shop” and the other by a hair fixing saloon--as it is seen in the picture.
Truly, someone has more passion for marketing that the run-of-the-mill unions stuff.
