Trivandrum: Obi Worldphone SF1 follows Octopus S520, the company's debut version and this time the thrust is on user experience and aesthetics. The phone has an elevated 5-inch screen with full HD resolution and pixel density, which is one of the standout features of Worldphone SF1.

The 13 Megapixel rear camera features automatic focus, LED flash and promises crisper, sharper pictures. The front facing camera is of 5 Megapixel and comes with its own flash. The phone uses Obi Lifespeed for user interface and runs on Android Lollipop OS with an Obi touch.

Worldphone SF1 boasts 64-bit Octa-core power processor with dual sim slots. The battery requires less time to get charged and and promises 28 hours talk time and 10 hours video play back time. The Dolby Audio enhancement boosts the audio quality of music and videos through the speakers and headphones.

On the flip side, the performace of camera is not up to mark during low light conditions. The elevated screen, with its gorilla glass 4 protection, is still vulnerable to sudden impacts.

The phone memory is  expandable up to 64 MB using a micro SD card but only at the expense of second sim slot.

The stuttering of user interface, especially during multi tasking comes as another shortcoming.  Yet for a phone priced at Rs 11,999 for 2GB RAM/16GB storage and Rs 13,999 for 3GB RAM/32GB storage, Worldphone SF1 comes as a striking model with good build quality, solid battery life, and very good audio, everything to emerge as a solid contender in the mid-range category.
