​Pay Commerce Wins Goal 2017
UST Global Goal Football Tournament Ends;

Kochi: Pay Commerce beat EY in the finals of Goal 2017 - an annual intercompany sevens football tournament organised by UST Global. Fingent put it across CTS in the women’s finals.


The tournament had teams participating in 8 groups of 4 teams each vying for the knockouts and later on two teams from each group moved into the knockout stage.The winners were handed over a trophy and cash awards of Rs.15,000 (winners) and Rs.10,000 (runners up).


 

Players from Fingent won the super pair award while the Golden Glove Award went to Sonu Nair from EY, while the Golden ball Award was presented to Augustine (EY). Aravind K G (Pay Commerce) won the Golden Boot, while Megha (Conduant) was adjudged best woman player. Sayyad Basim (Geojit) won the Best Fan award.

 

Tom Joseph, National Volleyball player, and BentlaD’Coth, International Football referee were the guests of honour at the closing ceremony organised at the Thrikkakara Municipal Stadium on Sunday. UST Global Kochi Centre Operations head Sunil Balakrishnan, Manoj Alappat were present at the closing ceremony. 

Goal is an intercompany sevens football tournament hosted by UST Global for all Infopark-based companies.
